Autry's story begins with Jim Autry, a footwear specialist who in the 1980s designed a tennis sneaker that bore his name. The brand gradually faded through the late 1990s, until 2019 — when four Italian entrepreneurs saw an opportunity to bring it back to life. Their vision was clear from the start: honor the brand's original heritage while reimagining it for a modern audience, balancing simplicity and versatility without losing sight of its authentic athletic roots.
